Its a good job vinyl is his only addiction. Still only 22, James Zabiela was introduced to the world of acid house through his father who worked in a local record shop and would come home laden with armfuls of early house and techno. The year? 1992. A time of innovation, invention and an endless stream of Guerilla releases. James was hooked instantly. Like father like son? The phrase could've been coined for Zabiela's career. " I was only 12 years old but I can still hear the thumping through my bedroom floor!" smiles James, who for now has purposefully avoided the lure of London by remaining in Southampton. My Dad would come home with armfuls of acid house tracks at the weekends, he recalls. It wasn't until I was 15 years of age, when I was to work in the same record shop, that tracks such as Joey Beltram's 'Energy Flash' & 'LFO' made sense to me. As soon as they did I was hooked. It wasn't long until he was offered a job at the shop as a vinyl buyer.

Sankeys Club opened its doors in June 1994 to humble beginnings in Beehive Mill on Jersey Street, a Victorian Mill responsible for kicking off the industrial revolution. The brainchild of Andy Spiro and Rupert Campell, who quite freely admit that it, was a crazy idea. However, they cite their naivety as the driving force behind the project taking shape. Lets face it, they were trying to open a club / live music venue in the heart of the most rundown area in Manchester. There were no random punters wandering past stumbling in on the off chance... Sankeys was well off the beaten track.

After nearly going bankrupt just 6 months after opening, things started to take shape, Bugged Out ! was born, and became the regular Friday. Golden was every Saturday. One particular weekend stood as the real turning point. Carl Cox came and spent the weekend at Sankeys Soap... The club was sold out the whole weekend, and the big man rocked the joint. Everyone started talking.

James Zabiela will be performing at the Third day of TomorrowLand 2011 in Boom, Belgium (Sunday, July 24th. 2011). Tomorrowland, the most talked Belgium festival, sold out all it's tickets in 5 days. Every year, the organization tries to surprise their visitors with an overwhelming atmosphere which thrills everyone from the first until the last note. A fairylike and unique decoration, 13 indoor and outdoor areas with more than 300 DJ's from all corners of the world, a gigantic dance valley, super cosy chill-out zones, jacuzzi's, the ultimate Saint Tropez feeling on the VIP terraces, thousands of hands in the air, falling rose leaves, BBQ's, summery coctails, fireworks, in short: One big party during 3 days.

After agreeing with the communities Boom and Rumst, the province of Antwerp and the recreational area De Schorre, it is with great pleasure we can finally announce that Tomorrowland will now take place over 3 festival days.

(In essence) So this means that Tomorrowland will take place on Friday 22, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July 2011, with the festival ground fully opened on all three days. The camping ground will already be opened on Thursday 21 July in the morning and a few hours later the warming up camping party will open the festivities in the afternoon.

The event will be held on 22 and 23 June at the Coral Costa Caribe hotel, located on the beach of Juan Dolio and will feature six prominent international Djs: Hardwell, James Zabiela, 16 Bit Lolitas, Desyn Steve Bugs and Massiello.
